5 out of 5: Not
as Stuffy as You Might Think
Sandra Trolinger "trolsgirl” September 4, 2004
I got a free subscription to this newspaper and I am
thoroughly enjoying it. The Olympics coverage was
wonderful along with the color pics. I like their
editorial pages too and my favorite part is the Life
section. I love the color pics and the celebrity news
and the reality TV news synopsis. I used to only read
this paper when traveling or on vacation. Now I am
reading it daily and they may have a subscriber for
life.

out of 5: Adventures in Capitalism
Kris Clack September 4, 2004
I began reading the FT daily in July, and it
has proven to be an invaluable resource. Case in point:
In mid August, the paper wrote a story profiling a tiny
technology company and saying how it had great
potential. I was skeptical when I read the article--
what technology company doesn't have potential--but I
did some homework on the company anyway. I liked what I
found. 4 months later, I've almost tripled my
investment. That more than pays for the cost of buying
the FT for a year. |

This newspaper is filled with news, information,
announcements, quotes, filings, and various assorted
knowledge daily. This paper runs Mon-Fri, and is the top

newspaper can be read by most age groups, and with a
little time and effort can put you a step ahead of the
rest in the financial world. |

out of 5: Journal Online!
majarah, February 28, 2003
Do you want an easy to search, easy to read format for
news about business and finance? Check out the financial
times Online. My group at work subscribes to
the financial times Online, and the paper version of
the FT. I have found both to be great
sources of news and industry information in my field,
financial services. They are current, and present many
angles. My preference is with the Online version because
I spend a great portion of my day on my computer. When I
need a 5 minute break from work, I can view the latest
financial news, search through the archives, or check my
stock portfolio. The Wall Street Journal allows me to
remain at the forefront of my industry, keeping pace
with the rest of the financial world. When compared to
other newspapers and online financial information sites,
the Wall Street Journal brand has them beat. To sum up,
the FT has been and will be one of the
best resources for up-to-date financial information. |

out of 5: Crucial in Business Arena
Sharon Emery, January 21, 2003
I have been a subscriber to the financial times for
about 5 months now. I have read the paper prior to
getting it home-delivered, but not on a regular basis,
prior to this. I like that the summary page (front) is
available to peruse prior to paging through its
contents. Sometimes you may miss an article of interest
in other newspapers as you don't see a good summary and
the hustle and bustle of the paper's contents
(advertisement, articles, etc...) it is easy to miss
something that may be of interest to you. Excellent
business information was essential in my MBA program.
Also, it really feels like having the world is at your
fingertips. |
